What is The Shift?

The Shift is a 6-week lifestyle framework designed for women navigating midlife, perimenopause, and beyond.

Midlife changes how your body responds to food, stress, sleep, and movement. What worked before doesn't always translate the same way now — and most women are never told that. They just feel stuck.

The Shift closes that gap. It's not about fixing yourself or starting over. It's about understanding what your body actually needs in this phase of life and building daily habits that support it — consistently, in real life.

Grounded in the belief that Stronger Later Starts Now, it's structured, flexible, and designed to fit the life you're already living.

How do I access the program?

The Shift is a digital program with weekly 1:1 coaching support.

Once you enroll, you'll get immediate access to your private member portal: including all video lessons, the workbook, trackers, expert led sessions, and the community.

Enrollment is rolling. Your six weeks begin when you start, and you'll book your first 1:1 session within your first week.

Each week takes about 1–1.5 hours: short video lessons, a focused worksheet or tracker, your weekly 1:1 session with me, and an expert-led call to deepen the learning.

Expert-led session dates and meeting links are inside your portal calendar. Depending on when you enroll, you may catch some sessions live and all sessions are recorded and added to your library, so you'll have ongoing access regardless of timing.

How much time will this take each week?

The Shift is designed to fit into real life, not take it over.

Most women spend about 1–2 hours per week engaging with the content and applying what they’re learning. Some weeks may feel lighter, others more reflective. It all depends on where you are. We’ll move through the program together in a guided rhythm and connect weekly on a 20 minute 1:1 coaching call.

The goal is integration, consistency, and lasting change.

Why I Created The shift

Meet Jen

Hi, I’m Jen Mullen — certified health coach, menopause specialist, mom of three, and founder of The Simply Living Way.

I work with women who look like they’re holding it all together, but inside feel exhausted, off, or disconnected from their bodies. What worked in your 20s and 30s doesn’t work the same way anymore. And that’s not a failure — it’s a shift.

The Shift began with me.
Even while “doing everything right,” I felt bloated, burned out, and stuck. Instead of pushing harder, I started listening more closely to what my body was actually asking for — and everything changed.

Then came the deeper catalyst: my mom. Watching her navigate serious health challenges made me wonder what might have been different with better support earlier. That question now shapes everything I teach.

The Shift isn’t about fixing your body or chasing quick results. It’s about learning how to work with your body — so you can feel strong, steady, and confident for decades to come.

How much time will this take each week?

Our 1:1 coaching calls will be 20 minutes in length and scheduled at a time/date that works for you.

How do the 1:1 sessions work?

Once you enroll, you'll book your weekly 1:1 mini session at a time that works for you.

Sessions are designed to help you apply what you're learning that week — work through what's coming up in your body, ask questions, and get personalized guidance. You'll have one session per week for the six weeks of the program.

Who are the expert calls with, and what can I expect?

You’ll have access to 30–45 minute expert-led calls with clinicians and specialists aligned with the core shifts inside the program.

This round includes a collaboration with Well by Messer, a wellness practice with locations in CT and NYC focused on integrative, personalized care. You’ll hear directly from members of their team, along with additional expert voices, to help connect the clinical perspective with the lifestyle work we’re building inside the program.

Some sessions are recorded live with this round's group. Enroll early to join those calls in real time.
